On purpose

This site is general information. It is not professional advice, not a ticket office, and not a claim that any restaurant is open tonight. Read this before you treat a page as a reservation, a health protocol, or a statement about a named business’s current trading.

thairestaurants.com.au is an independent editorial project. It is not an operator of restaurants, not a booking agent, and not affiliated with any kitchen unless a future page says so in plain language. Today, no page says so.

Listings, reviews and independence

City hubs are how-to-choose guides. They describe neighbourhoods, meal shapes and questions to ask. They do not list specific restaurants as currently operating. They do not rate them.

Pages titled as reviews are tasting methods. They are not reviews of named venues.

If a venue later appears in a hub, it will be as geography and method, not as a paid placement. We do not sell rankings. We do not claim a current honour roll. The about page and the listing page repeat this because independence is the point of the guide.

Nothing on this site is a warranty about food safety, allergen management, or accessibility at a particular room. Always tell the kitchen yourself. If you have a serious allergy, rely on a conversation with the people cooking, not on an explainer.

Recipes and dietary notes

Recipes are original home methods written in Australian English. They are not restaurant recreations and not medical advice. Fish sauce, shrimp paste, peanut, chilli, coconut and gluten-containing soy sauces appear throughout Thai cooking; the food guide explains the pattern. Your kitchen, your substitutions, your risk.

We do not warrant that a grocer in a named suburb currently stocks a named herb. Shopping notes are geography, not inventory.

Trademarks and third parties

All trademarks, brand names and restaurant names remain the property of their respective owners. Mention of a street, a market or a precinct is not an endorsement of any business there. Mention of a dish name is a culinary term, not a claim of authenticity certified by any authority.

Third-party awards bodies are not us. If you believe a page infringes a right, write via contact with the URL and the claim.

Limitation

Content may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Neighbourhoods change. Cooking methods vary by household. We are not liable for decisions you make about where to eat, what to order, or how to cook, to the extent Australian law allows that statement. Statutory rights you have as a consumer are not excluded where they cannot be.

The news page is not a news service. The contact form is not a booking desk. Internal links are invitations to read, not guarantees of a result.

If you are unsure whether a sentence is a live listing, it is not. If you need a table tonight, contact a restaurant directly. If you need a method, stay, read, and taste for yourself.

What people ask

Direct answers first

Are listings and reviews independent?
Yes. We do not sell rankings, and we do not claim a current honour roll. City “reviews” pages are tasting methods. If a venue later appears in a hub it will be as geography and method, not as a paid placement.

Still unsure?

Send a correction or a question. Do not treat any page as a reservation.
